Thoughts on Dieting
And a history of my diets/bodyweight
When I first started at the gym the aim was to get as big as possible with no regard for staying lean. I got fat. In hindsight I wish I didn't get so fat but I cannot deny that 'getting big' actually did ameliorate insecurities about being a skinny guy.
Going forward I do not want to ever put on so much fat again, which is easy to say now that I'm somewhat advanced in my training.
My Original Bulk 2017 - From Skinny to Big Guy
Breakfast:
- either 10 eggs on toast (I don't know why I couldn't handle 12) OR
- about 1kg of oats+milk with a handful of sultanas and a sliced apple
Lunch:
- Two pizzas, either from dominoes or frozen pizzas. I would put extra mayonnaise on top.
Dinner:
- One large chicken breast and as many oven chips as would fit in the little bench top oven.
Other:
- 4L of milk per day - Including about two protein shakes per day (also in my oats and coffee)
- 1 tin of tuna which I would crack open right after the gym for the walk home. I always had mayonnaise in my gym bag which I would put on top of the tuna.
- 1 family block of chocolate, almost every day.
